1933 Buck Rogers, Cut-Out Adventure Book
One of the most difficult to find of all Buck Rogers premiums is the "Cut Out Adventure Book". It was only available as a premium through the purchase of Cocomalt. The original order form required that you must drink a glass of Cocomalt at once a day for 30 days! It then had to be reviewed and signed by your parents. And you had to send in labels just to get the order form! It was printed in full color and had punch-out figures on every other page. The page opposite to the figure comprised a background scene for punches. Punching out the figures plus the extraordinary "hoops" that had to be jumped through to get one is why a complete unpunched example is nearly impossible to find. I found this in 2001 and it's still the only complete example in high grade condition I've seen. Size: 9" x 13". Sold: Dec. 2002
